Enjoy free music, dance, art activities, storytelling, and more for the entire family at Plaza de la Raza in Lincoln Heights (East Los Angeles).
Check out the Target Stage featuring Latin jazz, rock en Español, indie rock, and mariachi. Visit the Margo Albert Theatre for children’s performances by Bob Baker Marionettes and We Tell Stories. Don’t miss folklórico dancing and traditional music from Mexico by Plaza’s award-winning youth and adult performers, too.
Premiering during the 2013 Target Feria de la Familia is the annual exhibition of Con Nuestras Manos | With Our Hands, which features artwork by Plaza students. On view in the Margo Albert Theater Lobby, the exhibition will be open to the public free of charge through Friday, December 6 during regular operating hours of Monday-Friday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
LOCATION: Plaza de la Raza, 3540 N. Mission Rd., Los Angeles, CA 90031 (off the 5 Freeway one mile north of Downtown’s Brewery Arts Complex)
FREE ADMISSION. Parking available on surrounding streets and at nearby parking lots of DMV and LAC-USC Hospital. Accessible to Metro bus routes 78, 79 and 378.
