Spread Mediterranean Kitchen opens this week in DTLA.
The intersection of 4th & Main just added one more restaurant to the list of great places to eat in the Historic Core. Spread mediterranean Kitchen is a tapas style casual eatery with its roots in fine dining and a killer beer/cocktail program. We were able to get a sneak peek and a taste of what is to come as they prepare to open for lunch starting Wednesday February 2nd and later hours starting Saturday February 20th. Brandon Parker and Dan Coury are childhood friends that for years have talked about creating a restaurant together. Their mutual love of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods led them on a two-year journey researching great restaurants specializing in the cuisine. They realized that Downtown Los Angeles was in need of a fine-casual Mediterranean restaurant, so they created Spread. The chef has spent the past nine years at The Peninsula, working his way up to the position of Senior Sous Chef before joining Spread Kitchen.
